Our Philosophy

Grass roots passion. Inclusion first. Football that kids actually want to come back for.

Vision

We’re here to build a lifelong love of the game. Every player — whatever their starting point — should feel valued and included.

Inclusion first

If a child wants to play, we find them a place. We don’t run a closed shop. The Hawks should look like a community, not a shortlist.

That’s why we’re priced to stay open when bigger town clubs turn families away.

Love the game

Early years matter. Sessions should be fun, busy, and built to spark passion — not drain it.

Respectful competition

We play to win. We also play fair. Healthy competition sits on respect for teammates, opponents, and officials.

Attitude and work ethic

We want players who lift the people around them. Positive attitude. Strong work rate. Supportive teammates.

Warm coaching

Our coaches should feel welcoming. Confidence and belonging come before cold intensity — and they still leave room for a competitive culture as players grow.

Growing into competition

As players mature, we introduce more competitive football without losing the joy or the team spirit that got them here.

What we want them to remember

Skills, yes. Friendships and life lessons, more so. When Hawks leave us, we want them to look back fondly — and carry the club’s values with them.

We’re more than a club. We’re a family that grows together, plays together, and celebrates the game together.
